Wallkill, NY – Paige K Levesque-Lueddeke, 39, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 19, 2010, after a long courageous battle with melanoma cancer. Paige was born April 24, 1970, in Houlton Maine. Her family eventually settled in Poughkeepsie, NY where she was a graduate of Spackenkill High School, class of 1988.
She was the Office Manager for Villa Concrete and R.S.P.B. Construction, family owned businesses. Paige was also a congregant of Faith Assembly of God Church of Poughkeepsie. Paige, an avid Yankees fan, was happiest when the team was beating up on the Red Sox. She had an entire room dedicated to team memorabilia, which featured her favorite player, Derek Jeter.
Paige is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Albert; her beloved Dad and Mom, Ron and Susan Levesque of Fishkill, NY; best friend and brother, Bond Levesque and his wife, Colene and their girls, Cleo and Lily (referred to by Paige as Lucy and Ethel) of Plattekill; special grandmother, Cleo "Ma" Boutilier Joslyn; two great-aunts, Jean Beaulieu and Luella Leavitt; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Paige has a tremendous amount of friends who were instrumental in caring for and supporting her during the most difficult times. They include Sue, Colleen, Elaine, Staci and Patti among many dear others, especially Joanne, whose unwavering dedication to her care inspired everyone. Her dogs (the boys), Blue and L.T. like everyone else will surely miss our beloved "Peach".
One of Paige's favorite times was the yearly "Girl's Week" at Ogunquit Beach, Maine. Paige, Mom, Ma, Aunt Annie, Aunt Polly, Amanda, Angie, Brenda, Colene, Cleo, Lily and Lola the trolley driver. A great time of EATING, walking, boat riding, sight seeing, game playing (kicked out of hotel for noise), trolley riding and shopping were always enjoyed. We know she will always be watching over us as we do this annual trip. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted to acquire a Park Bench in her memory on the Marginal Way in Ogunquit Maine.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, South Rd., Poughkeepsie. Mausoleum entombment followed in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery in the building built by her Dad and brother. For Paige's guest book, please visit www.hudsonvalleyfuneralhomes.com.
