‘Looking Back’ brings warm memories

To the editor:
    I have enjoyed the “Looking Back” articles and pictures the Aroostook Republican displays weekly. I was much surprised and heart warmed when a picture and article of my father, Claude Cyr, appeared as the president of the Kiwanis Club in Caribou 50 years ago. This was one of his passions contributing to the community. I am speaking on behalf of my mother, Marilyn Cyr who also was warmly reminded of those memories too.
    Thank you for the wonderful picture and memory. It made my day last Wednesday.
