Limestone Community School
My school has no money in the budget so they have to cut out extra activities. The kids take it into their own hands to figure this out. The kids are going to hold a bunch of fundraisers. Their was a car washing and we raised $84.00 on that fundraiser; and we also sold candy bars, and we made $1520.00 on that fundraiser.
The last of the fundraisers was the movie night. It was $5.00 person and $15.00 per family. There were 12 people who paid $5.00 and there were 20 families who paid $15.00. We made a total of $360.00 in that fundraiser. The best part about the fundraisers is that we had a lot of fun.
After that we totaled up all the money and to our surprise we made a total of $1,964.00. And the best part was we had fun doing it.
And another good thing that came out of that was that we did not have to lose our on any of our extra activities. And for raising that much money the whole school got to go to an outdoor pool and we all got the day off from school..
