PRESQUE ISLE – Vincent D. Emery, 77, died early Monday morning April 5, 2010, at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born on February 10, 1933, in Walker, Minn., the son of Lawrence and Marge (Curtis) Emery.
Vincent served in the US Air Force, retiring in 1974. He worked for Vahlsing, Inc., A&P, Interstate Foods, and area farmers retiring in 1989.
He is survived by three sons and their wives, Vincent Jr. and Lula Emery of San Antonio,TX., Timothy and Angel Emery of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Jack and Judy Emery of Caribou; a daughter, Barbara Norkevich of Caribou; four brothers and four sisters, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
He was predeceased by his wife Eloise (Dumond) Emery and two sisters.
