Stepping Stones raffled off two Easter baskets to benefit the Shelter Services for homeless women and children. The baskets were won by Linda Craig and Miranda Lundine. With the help of Horn of Plenty and Temple Theatre, the raffle raised $137. In addition, Houlton Water Company’s John Clark donated $100, Hannaford’s Shop-n-Save collected $245 and the Stepping Stones bottle drive brought the grand total to $525. Stepping Stones will also be holding their annual Bake Sale in front of Mardens and will have a table at Midnight Madness and will be selling their fully-loaded baked potatoes and homemade sausage and pepper hash at the Potato Feast Days. All proceeds will benefit the Stepping Stones Shelter Services.
