Calling all friends of Mantle Lake Park

The Presque Isle Recreation and Parks Department will be holding a “Friends of Mantle Lake Park” meeting for all interested community members. This meeting will be Wednesday, May 5th at 6 p.m. at the council chambers on the third floor of City Hall.
Our goal is to do two things. One is to share what plans are already in place for the future of the park and secondly, to begin to create a “Friends” group for the park made up of interested community members where they can share and discuss thoughts and ideas for the park. That way, future decisions made on my level will have input from those that use and care about the park most.
I will have flyers handed out to as many homes in the neighborhood my kids or others can get to, inviting everyone to attend. Even if you are unable to attend, please spread the word.
