Turkey meeting

PRESQUE ISLE – Anyone interested in hearing more about turkeys can learn more at a meeting May 20.
The Aroostook County Crown of Maine Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will be holding a meeting May 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the Northeastland Hotel in Presque Isle. The purpose of this meeting will be to meet National Wild Turkey Federation Vice President of Chapter Development Bob Fountain and National Wild Turkey Federation Regional Director Brian D. Smith.
Participants will receive up-to-date information on migration and placement of wild turkeys in Aroostook County, the 2010 membership drive and the annual ticket sales for the July 23 banquet and auction.
Plans will also be made at this time to schedule a meeting for the election of new officers.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to bring a friend. There is no charge.
