to provide home repairs

to low-income seniors

PRESQUE ISLE – Aroostook County Action Program, Inc. (ACAP), the organization that provides services and programs dedicated to eliminating poverty in Aroostook County, has announced that it is applying to the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development for a Housing Preservation Grant in the amount of $83,000. This grant would be used to provide home repairs to approximately 14 very low-income seniors ages 62 and over at an average of $5,000 per property.
