SUPERINTENDENT VISITS ROTARY
Marc Gendron, superintendent of SAD 20 in Fort Fairfield, spoke to the Fort Fairfield Rotary recently, explaining that Fort voters are encouraged to approve the proposed alternative organization structure which will be comprised of Fort Fairfield, Mars Hill and Bridgewater schools.
Each school system will retain its own autonomy, ruled by their own school boards. However, there will be one superintendent, special education director and central office staff. All assets will stay in each local community. Gendron said he and the SAD 20 School Board and Fort Fairfield Town Council support the proposed AOS and encourage voters to vote in favor of the consolidation on June 1.
