Image    ISLAND FALLS and DADE CITY, FL – Elizabeth Ann Perrin went to be with her Lord on June 12. She was born July 29, 1914, the daughter of Coleman and Ruby McLaughlin.
She was a member of the class of 1932 of Island Falls High School and married Donald Herbert Perrin, Sr. in 1940. Betty enjoyed assisting her husband with their potato farming business but her greatest joy was being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her positive attitude and unconditional love enriched the lives of every family member and friend who had the priviledge of knowing her.  Simply known as "Bea" by her beloved husband, and Mom by her children, she had a special gift for showing care and compassion to others. Whether it was reading books, rocking her newborn grandchildren, showing "her girls" how to make her famous homemade bread, camping at Mattawamkeag Lake or vacationing in Bar Harbor, Betty loved spending time with her friends and family.
Over the years Betty had many interests. She was an avid reader and active member of her communities. In recent years, she became a member of "The Seeds of Abraham" and spent a summer volunteering at a homeless shelter in Murphy, NC with her daughter Peg and son-in-law, Steve. She enjoyed traveling and seeing new sights.  Her life was a life well lived.
She is survived by 6 children, Judith Milsom of Vero Beach, FL, Donald Perrin, Jr. and his wife, Sandra of Dade City, FL, Margaret Gadreau and her husband, Steven of Murphy, NC, Virginia Thomas of Vero Beach, FL, Victoria Dunprey and her husband, Gary of Old Town, Stephen Perrin and his fiancee, Karen Lee of Houlton; 10 grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her adoring husband, Donald Herbert Perrin Sr.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 20 at the Island Falls Cemetery with the Pastor Ben Greene officiating.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to Madigan House, c/o Bowers Funeral Home, PO Box 579, Houlton ME 04730
