“What would you like to give your father for Father’s Day?”

Said he hadn’t made up his mind about a gift. But, when asked if he could give his Dad anything at all, he came up with the perfect gift for his father.
“I would give him a Barrett .50 cal. He’s not a hunter. He’s a gun collector.”
Aireanna Tompkins, 4
Aireanna said that she had been thinking about a gift for her father and as it turned out, her mother said little Aireanna had already made a gift. “She gave him handprints that came with a poem about always having her hands,” Ashley Tompkins explained.
The Thurston children had definite and immediate ideas about what they would do for their father on his special day. Everett Thurston, (front) age 5, said “I want to give dad a toy.” Benjamin Thurston, (left) age 8, said “I want to give dad a Civil War comic book.” Oliver Thurston, 8, said “I want to give him a letter to say he is the best father in the whole world because this is from Oliver, the youthful boy.”
