BRUNSWICK, Maine — Seven Bowdoin College students have been awarded the William H. Moody ’56 Award. The award was announced May 12 at the College’s annual Honors Day ceremony
Established in memory of Bill Moody, who for many years was the theater technician and friend of countless students, this award is presented annually to sophomores, juniors or seniors who have made outstanding contributions to the theater through technical achievements accomplished in good humor.
Local students receiving the award include: Whitney Anne Grass, class of 2010, of Mars Hill and Kathleen Chong Lewis, class of 2010, of Caribou.
ROCHESTER — Jeremiah Sjoberg, the son of Craig and Betty Sjoberg of Washburn, has been named to the dean’s list for three quarters at Rochester Institute of Technology. A first-year student in RIT’s School of Photographic Arts and Sciences, Sjoberg, a 2009 graduate of WDHS, is studying digital photography/advertising.
