ATV ride for ladies only
    The Aroostook Riders ATV Club will hold a Powder Puff Ride (ladies only) on Friday, July 9.
    The first starting point of the ride will be at 10 a.m.  from 296 McIntyre Rd, Houlton, with the second starting point behind DOC’s on North Road at  11a.m. 
    Ladies should pack a cooler lunch, as riders will stop for dinner at a rest area beyond the Blue Moose Restaurant. The ride will be approximately three to four hours, with leaders Tracy Rockwell and Pam Ward.

    On Monday, July 12, the Aroostook Riders ATV Club will hold a meeting at 5 p.m. at the Miller Civic Center at Community Park in Houlton.
Rifle, pistol club to meet
    The monthly meeting of the Houlton Rifle and Pistol Club will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 11 at the range, located adjacent to Houlton International Airport. The meeting is normally held the first Sunday of the month, but has been moved due to the July 4th holiday. After the meeting there will be recreational shooting. All members are encouraged to attend.
