HHS Alumni Variety Show tickets on sale

    HOULTON — Tickets for the Alumni Variety Show will go on sale Saturday, July 3 at the Hospitality Center.  The Alumni Variety Show is one of the many activities being held as part of Reunion 2010 – the multi-class reunion sponsored by the Houlton High School Alumni Association. Events are being held from July 4-10.
    The Alumni Variety Show has become a favorite event at past multi-class reunions with talent from throughout the generations performing.  This year’s show is designed to do the same. The show will be held Friday, July 9 at 7 p.m. at the Houlton High School Auditorium.  Acts will include the Alumni Band, Alumni “Off Beat” percussion ensemble, Alumni Jazz “Big Band” and an Alumni “Generations” Chorus which is new this year.  Some smaller acts will perform between the ensemble numbers and a “house band” will entertain the audience during stage changes.   Any former student musicians are encouraged to participate in the ensembles.  Those interested should contact event organizers Joe Fagnant at jofagnant@msln.net or 532-0671, Margaret Gilpin Hill (Class of 1986) at hills5@hotmail.com or Renee Wilkins Grant ’88 at renee.grant1@gmail.com.
    Tickets for the event are $10 each and are general admission.  They will be available at the Alumni Hospitality Center located at 72 Main Street beginning on Saturday, July 3rd and throughout the week.  Any remaining tickets will also be sold at the event.
    Other activities taking place as part of Reunion 2010 include an Art Show, Alumni Soccer Game, Alumni Social, High School tours, Alumni Golf Scramble and the Gala Dinner Dance.  Details are available on the alumni web site at www.houltonalumni.com.
