Potato Blossom Pageant
THE MAINE POTATO BLOSSOM PAGEANT COMMITTEE held its very first Pre-Teen Miss and Teen Miss Potato Blossom Pageant July 10 in Fort Fairfield. Six contestants were vying for the title of Pre-Teen Miss and seven young ladies were competing for the title of Teen Miss. Pictured following the coronation are, from left: Pre-Teen Miss Second Runner-up, Gracie Griffeth of Fort Fairfield; Pre-Teen Miss First Runner-up, Kelsey Dominique of Mars Hill; 2010 Pre-Teen Miss Maine Potato Queen Madison Bearden, 2010 Teen Miss Maine Potato Queen Michaela Powers, Teen Miss First Runner-up, Hanna Patterson of Presque Isle; and Teen Miss Second Runner-up, Hannah Hebert of Caribou. Bearden is from Presque Isle and is the daughter of Kathy and Jeff Bearden. Powers is from Mapleton and is the daughter of Sue and Joe Powers.
