Conservation workshop slated

    The University of Maine Cooperative Extension will offer preservation workshops Aug. 12 and Aug. 19 at the Houlton Regional Hospital Community Education Center.  The workshops, which run from 6-9 p.m., are “hands-on” classes and will cover water bath and pressure canning, freezing and drying.
