CARIBOU — It was another busy card of racing at Spud Speedway this past Saturday as drivers competed in several thrilling events. On Saturday, July 31, Spud Speedway returns with another round of Tuff Trucks.
“Spud fans and drivers really seemed to enjoy the tuff trucks at the monster truck show so we have decided to have it a few times a year,” said Glen King. “Drivers will take a regular truck or SUV and race the clock and see how fast they can tame the course and show up their competition.”
There will also be a 50-lap bomber race with a surprise and “race your neighbor” to see who will be top dog on the street. If all that is not enough, there will be a full card of racing, including the return of the Quigley’s Building Supply Late Model Sportman division as they all return from a trip to Wiscasset Raceway this past weekend.
The third and final race of this series is this Sept. 25 at Spud, where the Maine Racing Alliance champion will be crowned.
