    FERRISBURGH, VT – Thelma MacDonald, 79, died peacefully at her home in Vergennes, on August 3, 2010. She owned and operated a residential care facility for over 30 years in Westfield, Maine.
    She is predeceased by her husband, Ronald MacDonald; and a son, John Larry Potts.
    She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Oscar and Helen Walker of El Paso, Texas; her children, Ron Potts of Middlebury, Sandra Backstrom of Kansas City, MO, Vanessa Langenback of Levittown, PA, Teresa Eddings of San Antonio, TX, Karen MacDonald of Ver-gennes; she has 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
    A graveside service was held 2:30 p.m., Saturday, August 7, at Kent Cemetery in Panton. Friends called at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes from 1 to 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, cards may be sent to PO Box 95, Westfield, ME.
