On June 2, United Insurance announced the merger of Kieffer Insurance in Caribou. The merger came about as the result of a collaboration between United Insurance president and CEO, Chris Condon, and owner of Kieffer Insurance, Rob Kieffer.
“The Kieffer Agency is an excellent fit with our organization. Attitude, work ethic, quality product, relationships — they do business the same way we do business,” said Condon.
The Kieffer Agency opened its doors in 1926, and has been family-owned since 1958. Kieffer Insurance is located at 101 High St. in Caribou. United Insurance is a locally-owned and -operated organization with 14 independent agencies located throughout Maine and New Hampshire.
