CARIBOU — Two area women were arrested on Aug. 15 after stealing approximately $1,500 from a Caribou supermarket.

Dana Wilson, 27, of Washburn and Marianne Paul, 23, of New Sweden were charged with theft after stealing a money from the front end of the Caribou Save a Lot in broad daylight.

Supermarket employees eventually noticed the theft and alerted the police, who were able to use surveillance footage from the store to identify and arrest the two women. Officer St. Peter of the Caribou Police Department made the arrest.

Both women were charged with class C theft.
