PASS competition headlines Spud slate

CARIBOU —Spud Speedway once again was bustling with activity this past weekend as the track hosted its PASS event with NASCAR driver Sterling Marlin.

NASCAR driver Sterling Marlin made a stop at Advantage Gases and Tools in Presque Isle Saturday, signing autographs and posing for photos with his fans, such as Haley and Zachary Caron of Caribou. Taking a picture is their mother, Sheena Caron. Marlin, a two-time winner of the Daytona 500 and long-time Winston Cup/Sprint Cup driver, was also at Spud Speedway in Caribou both Friday and Saturday to race and meet with race fans.
