Northern Maine Community College took home top honors for a business exhibit at the Northern Maine Fair’s Historical Pavilion. NMCC’s display featured large photos from the past and present, yearbooks from each of the graduating classes dating back to 1965, and other college memorabilia. The exhibit also featured a collection of artifacts and photographs lent to the college from the Presque Isle Air Museum. The World War II era material from the Presque Isle Army Air Base was included in the NMCC exhibit to underscore that the college sits on the site of the former base. Presenting the award for “Best Display By A Business” is Carol Bell, president of the Presque Isle Historical Society, to Dustin Graham, NMCC student and the individual who designed, set up and staffed the booth for the college.
