VaJoWa

Coming up this Saturday and Sunday will be the Mars Hill vs. VaJoWa Challenge Match. Play will  be at Mars Hill on Saturday with the format being individual match play. Sunday’s play at VaJoWa  will be two-ball match play. Tee times will be scheduled from 8-9:30 a.m. We still need a couple  more players, so call the pro shop if you would like to participate.  
Couples golf has another great turnout Sunday. Finishing first were Jenness/Goldie Gushee and  Joe/Jarice Kelley. Second place went to Francis/Sally Cyr and John/Betty Smallwood and rounding  out the top three teams were Stu/Becky Kelley and Greg Gaynes/Sandy Newman. This Sunday play  will start at 3 p.m. All are welcome.
Tuesday evenings we are having a two-man scramble. Show up ready to play at 4 p.m. and enjoy the  round and food and beverage at the restaurant.
The seventh annual Benefit for Diabetes Scramble with be Saturday, September 25. Put your four-person team together for this worthwhile charity. Entry fee is $50 per person and includes golf with cart and prizes.
Call the pro shop to register your team. The course is in great shape.  Winter will be upon us before you know it, so enjoy the game while you  can.
