WASHBURN and ZEPHYR-HILLS, FL – Genevieve Churchill, beloved wife and mother, went home to be with the Lord on September 13, 2010, after a lengthy illness.
Jenny worked for the National Potato Promotion Board in Denver, Colorado, as the administrative assistant to the board president for 21 years, and after retirement, moved to Zephyrhills, where she resided with her current husband, T. Nathan Churchill.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Richard B. Bottum.
Jenny is survived by her children, Mark K. Bottum, and Jeri Sue Blackwell and her husband, Eddie of Denver; two stepdaughters, Heather Stretar of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and Heidi Sawyer of Coinjock, NC; a brother, Dennis Graff of Fremont, NE; a sister, Shirley Stunkel of Lincoln, NE; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at the First United Methodist Church of Zephyrhills chapel on Thursday, Sept. 16, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Genevieve’s memory to Gulfside Regional Hospice, 5760 Dean Dairy Road, Zephyrhills, FL 33542. Additional services will be held at the Wellshire Presbyterian Church in Denver, CO, a date and time to be determined.
