The Haystack Historical Society is in the process of developing the cloakrooms, more commonly known as coatrooms, at the School Museum. The Society is looking specifically for book bags, lunch pails, boots, jackets, hats or any items found in a school cloakroom from the late 1800s through the early 1900s when the school was in operation. If you have any of these interesting items and would like to donate them to the Museum, please contact Secretary Myrna Gardner at 764-0290 or leave a message at the Haystack Historical Society at 764-4111.
The United Methodist Church will be hosting its weekly luncheon Friday, Sept. 24 at 11:30 a.m. There is no charge for the luncheon, but donations are accepted. All are welcome to attend.
