    HOULTON – Robert J. Davis, 71, died Sept. 16, 2010 at a local hospital. He was born March 16, 1939 at Hartford, CT, the son of Robert and Beatrice (Regina) Davis.
    Bob retired from the US Air Force, where he was proud of his service as a fuel boom operator. He was a communicant of Saint Mary of the Visitation Church and a member of the American Legion. After his retirement, Bob was employed by Thompson Oil Co. and Andy’s IGA.
    He is survived by his wife, Patsy (Thompson) Davis of Houlton; two daughters, Theresa Davis of Ohama, Neb, Angela Tapley of Houlton; four grandchildren, Amanda, Alex, James, and Jacob; two great- grandchildren; Olivia and Nathan; one sister, Cindy Frey of CT; several nieces and nephews.
    Friends called 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Dunn Funeral Home. Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. David Raymond officiating.
