Halfway Home Pet Rescue (HHPR) is currently  providing care for these two 9-week-old siblings, Bobby and Bonnie. Leukemia tested, they have had their first distemper shot, wormed, cleared of fleas and are ready for adoption for a fee  of $50 and HHPR will provide for a neuter/spay voucher. The male and female are good with children and other cats; however there is no knowledge of how they adapt to being around dogs. HHPR currently has 18 young kittens in foster rescue status (12 adoption age); 7 happy, healthy (almost tame) teenage, formerly feral kittens (beautiful calicos); 12 spayed/neutered, clean, happy, healthy young adults (8 months to 2 years); 3 senior adults (free). HHPR is in great need of Purina Kitten Chow, canned cat food and clay based kitten litter (non-scoopable please). Also being sought are adult volunteers to work 2-to-3 hour shifts at the Toby’s Treasures Gift Store. Halfway Home is a licensed state animal shelter and a 501c3 organization which works to help stray, abandoned and abused cats. Your returnable bottles at 88 Bennett Drive Redemption and change in the area business collection jars are a huge blessing to us. For more information go to Petfinder.com or www.halfwayhomepetrescue.org  or call 492-1722 (please speak slowly when leaving a message). Donations may be sent to Halfway Home Pet Rescue, Inc.  PO Box 488, Caribou, ME. 04736.
