Jackie Martin, displays the full-size quilt, which her sister, Ruth Harders of New York, won during a Sept. 18 drawing at the Episcopal Church of the Advent in Limestone. Rev. Steve Summerson drew the winning ticket from a basket containing over 1,000 entries. The handmade counterpane was created and donated by Dot Peterson, 93, of Caribou, who wanted to held raise funds to cover the cost of a new chimney at the church which was constructed this summer.
