Ruggles, Collyn Conrad, Infant, New Sweden, September 20, 2010.

AR Collyn RugglesNew Sweden – An angel came down from heaven on September 30th and carried Collyn to the arms of his heavenly Father; waiting for him at heaven’s gate was his great-grandma, Fran Ruggles who now cradles and rocks him in the glory of heaven’s splendor. Sweet little Collyn came into this world on June 10, 2010, a precious gift loaned to us by our Father in heaven. His time on earth was short, but he was a ray of sunshine that could light up a room, bring a smile to all who came in contact with him, lift a heavy heart just to be in his presence, and gave us a foretaste of what a child was meant to be. Jesus taught, “Let the little children come unto me.” Collyn had a special place in our Savior’s heart and now spreads his angel wings and flies. He will always be remembered and loved by all now left to finish their earthly journey before joining him in the graciousness of our God.

He is survived by his dad, Rick Ruggles; his mom, Darci St. Pierre; his sister, Jenessa St. Pierre; and his brother, Jaimen Chasse; grandparents, Joe Ruggles and Betsy Hallett of Mars Hill, Betty Peck of Beverly, Mass., Tammy Hatch of Boothbay Harbor, Jacques St. Pierre of Van Buren; great-grandparents, Dick Ruggles of New Sweden, Leroy Hatch of Waterville, June Castonguay of Boothbay, Gisele St. Pierre of Van Buren; great-great-grandmother, Marilyn Howard of Houlton.  He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of Collyn’s life was held at Gustaf Adolph Lutheran Church on October 5, at 5:30 p.m. with Pastor Gordon Compton officiating.

Memorials in Collyn’s memory may be made to Central Aroostook Humane Society, (Animal Shelter) 26 Cross Street, Presque Isle, ME 04769.
