    London, Eugene R., 85, October 1, 2010.  Arrangements by Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, South Windsor, Conn.  Interment to be held in the Littleton Cemetery.
    EAST HARTFORD, Conn. – Eugene R. London, 85, a resident of East Hartford since 1982 and formerly of Vernon, died Friday morning, October 1, 2010 at Kimberly Hall South.  He was born and educated in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada, a son of the late Leroy and Pearl (Robertson) London.
    Eugene was employed with the City of Hartford Department of Public Works for over 31 years from which he retired in June of 1990. He was a former member of the Hartford Full Gospel Church.
    Eugene is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Glenna O. (McCordic) London and leaves three sons, Robert E. London and his wife, Karen, of Lebanon, Gaylon L. London and his wife, Dale, of Tolland and David G. London and his wife, Audrey, of East Hartford; a daughter, Judith A. Crandall, wife of the late Mark Crandall who passed away on June 28, 2010 of Vernon; two sisters, Vivian McCarthy of San Diego, CA and Thelma London of Windsor; as well as twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
    A graveside service will take place on Friday, October 8th at 11 a.m. at Littleton Cemetery in Littleton, Maine. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday evening from 5-7 pm at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., in South Windsor.
