The Fire Department, EMS and Smith had many exhibits and displays to provide visitors with an overview of their services. During the day many children enjoyed a tour of the fire trucks; some even tried on fire gear.
As part of Fire Prevention Week, the Danforth Fire Department also invited elementary students from East Grand School to come to their station for an educational session on fire prevention. The members of the Danforth Fire Department would like to thank those who participated in their open house. They also offer a reminder to check your smoke detectors and they look forward to seeing everyone next year.Contributed photo
