Theft has left mother with nothing

To the editor:
    My mother, Nina Russell, who is 84 years old, was robbed of all her money while shopping in Houlton on Saturday at approximately 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. This was all the money she had and now has no way to pay her rent, car payment, lights, phone, Lifeline or even to buy groceries.
    Whoever you are that did this terrible thing to my elderly mother, I wonder if you can sleep at night because she can’t. I wonder if you have groceries, because she doesn’t. I wonder if you have to worry about a roof over your head, because she has to worry about this and a whole lot more.
