The Aroostook Medical Center and SAD 42 are offering a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training course to prepare participants to work in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals and nursing homes. CNAs provide hands-on care, which can include taking a patient’s blood pressure, helping with personal hygiene, assisting with feeding and much more.
The application deadline is Nov. 1, and the course begins Dec. 6 at Aroostook Health Center in Mars Hill. Tuition is $450, along with a $100 application fee.
