Desiree Amber Foster and Nathaniel Ray Sixberry exchanged wedding vows July 17, 2010 in the presence of their family and friends. Reverend Randall Burns performed the ceremony at Military Street Baptist Church in Houlton.
Wedding attendants included Hannah Miller of Kennebunk; Nicole Michaud of Presque Isle; Grace Stevens of Hodgdon; Mary Drew Metherell of Houlton; Isaiah Gillis of Danforth, Aaron Henn of Danforth; and Micah Foster of Littleton. Reception was held at the Houlton Lodge of Elks.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Sherry Foster of Linneus, and the groom is the son of Rev. Vernon and Kim Sixberry of Danforth. Desiree is a graduate of Hodgdon High School and is currently attending college at Northwest Florida State in Niceville, Florida. Nathanial is a graduate of East Grand High School in Danforth and is currently serving in the United States Air Force. The couple honeymooned in the Caribbean and reside in Crestview, Florida.
