I’m voting for Alex

To the editor:
Thomas Paine wrote, “Character is much easier kept than recovered.” I want to inform you of someone whose character has been kept since his earliest years. Alex Willette, candidate for District 7 House of Representatives, and I met many years ago in elementary school. Since then we have grown up with each other, graduated, gone to college, come back home and continued to make progress in this thing call life. A lot has changed since those blissful, carefree days at Mapleton Elementary, but one thing hasn’t, Alex’s character has always been of unwavering integrity, hard work ethic, and incomparable persistence.
Previous letters to the editor have spoken of Alex’s superior experience and resume. I wanted to make it very clear to the people of District 7, that if they voted for Alex on Nov. 2, they would not only be voting for an experienced, competent representative, but also for a young man who has kept his character, and will continue to hold it to a higher standard. That is something a poll can’t measure. I’m voting for Alex.
