Whitney Cote, Destinee Neureuther and Micah Wiley of GHCA qualified for the Cross Country State Competition in Belfast on Saturday. The top 30 finishers qualify for the state meet.
At last Saturday’s Eastern Regional Cross Country Championship in Belfast, Neureuther finished 14th in the girls’ division with a time of 23:42.56, while Cote was 18th in a time of 24:07.30. Out of 63 female runners, Lauren Robertson finished 46th with a time of 26:56.50 and Halle Duff, 51st, with a time of 27:53.32.
Out of 89 boys, Wiley was 24th with a time of 19:46.16, followed by Russell Socoby, 58th, at 21:53.04; Isaiah Straubel, 72nd, 24:06.81; Ethan Holmes, 76, 24:30.40; Jordan Cummings, 81, 26:31.75.
