Aroostook County Branch of the American Red Cross-Pine Tree Chapter is offering adult, infant and child CPR and First Aid training on Saturday, November 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the McCain Conference Room of The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle.
Participants will learn how to perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants. First aid skills include treating a variety of injuries such as burns; wounds; head, neck and back injuries; and heat and cold-related emergencies. Also included are ways to manage sudden illnesses, stroke, seizure, bites, and poisoning.
Participants are encouraged to use the Pinkham entrance upon arrival to the training.
