PRESQUE ISLE — A second business is proud to announce its arrival in the Star City.
TxVia joins BalanceBPO in bringing its business to the 18 Greenhill Drive facility which formerly served as home to Connect North America.

“TxVia, Inc. is revolutionizing the pre-paid card industry on two fronts: with platform as a service-based technology and with our customer experience/service industry,” said company spokesperson Amber Whitman.
Whitman said company officials are pleased to set up shop in their new home, sharing the structure with BalanceBPO.
“We’re excited not only about the Center of Excellence’s (BPO’s) facility, but also about the creative and talented people that Aroostook County has to offer,” Whitman said.
She credited Tim Lavin, BPO’s owner, with bringing the Presque Isle facility to the attention of TxVia officials, who were impressed by County people’s work ethic.
“Tim, with whom we have formed a strategic relationship, brought Presque Isle to the company’s attention. After a nationwide search was conducted, TxVia was immediately impressed with the workforce as well as the deep generosity of the local community. This was validated through the hiring process,” she said.
When fully operational, the business anticipates putting dozens to work.
“TxVia plans to hire 100-plus customer service and risk mitigation specialists,” Whitman said. “We could not be more excited about the future of the company in northern Maine.”
The business looks forward to becoming more involved in the community.
“TxVia plans to actively support the local community. We look forward to working with the community to explore ways to make a positive and lasting impact,” said Whitman.
