Beaupré, Isabelle Violette, 84, of Caribou, at Caribou, on October 31, 2010. Friends may call at the funeral home, Friday from 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., November 6, from the Parish of the Precious Blood, Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Arrangements are in the care of the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.


AR Obit BeaupreCaribou – Isabelle Violette Beaupré, 84, died peacefully October 31, 2010, in Caribou, Maine. She was born in Keegan, November 11, 1925, the daughter of the late Severin and Caroline (Cyr) Violette.

She attended high school in Van Buren. Isabelle married the love of her life, Fernand Beaupré, June 28, 1948. The couple lived on their farm in North Caribou for 58 years, where she was a homemaker and raised their four children.  Isabelle was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and is a past president of the Ladies of St. Anne. Her family and friends knew her as a person who enjoyed gardening, working with crafts, and watching and feeding the many birds around her home.

Isabelle was predeceased by her husband, Fernand, in 2007.  Isabelle will be missed by her loving family; her son and daughter-in-law, Lester and Louise Beaupré of Caribou; three daughters and one son-in-law, Cynthia Beaupré of Fresno, Calif., Nancy and Bill Coffey of Clovis, Calif., and Pat Beaupré of Loma Linda, Calif.; five grandchildren, Jason Beaupré, Jill Beyeler, Kristopher LaMar, Ryan LaMar and Justin Coffey; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Annie Fongemie of Fort Meyers FL, Therese Masse of Plainville CT, Yvonne Masse of Plainville CT, and Stella Duplissis and her husband Gerry of Lewiston, ME; and one brother, Percy Violette and his wife Fernande of Plainville, CT.  There are also many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, who remember her as a kind, loving lady. She was predeceased by four sisters, Corinne Martin, Gladys Dionne, Jeanne Levesque, and Gertrude Cote; and three brothers, George, Emile, and Marc Violette.

Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, 7-9 p.m. Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m Saturday, November 6, 2010, from the Parish of the Precious Blood Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Aaron Damboise, officiating.
