The characters from “Alice in Wonderland” made a special appearance on Halloween night at the Caribou Wellness Center’s annual gathering of ghosts, goblins, werewolves and fairytale characters. Members of the Lister/Knowlton VFW Auxiliary, who have sponsored the popular event for more than 30 years and the recreation department staff were host to more than 500 guests during the two-hour affair. Striking a tea-time pose are Wade, the ‘Mad Hatter’ and Jill, the ’Queen of Hearts’ Leavitt of Connor with their daughters, Jessica, left, as ‘Alice’ and Victoria, portraying the ‘White Queen.’
