Cub Scouts collecting food this weekend
The Cub Scouts from Presque Isle and Mapleton want to remind the community that they are going to be picking up donations of non-perishable food items for the GIFT food pantry Saturday, Nov. 13 in Presque Isle and Sunday, Nov. 14 in Mapleton between the hours of noon-3 p.m.
If you found a gift bag and notice on your door, the Scouts ask that you place the bag in an easy-to-spot location on your porch or near your door. If you did not receive a bag to donate on your door this week and wish to have a Cub Scout come and pick up your donation, please contact Spencer Bragan at 488-9068 for donations in Presque Isle and David Adams at 764-5662 for donations in Mapleton.
Thanksgiving is a very important and busy time for our local food pantries.
