Jenn Coty, right, is all smiles as she is presented the quilt she won through a raffle at The Cubby in Caribou. The quilt creator, Lorraine Hafford of Presque Isle, is afflicted with severe sight loss, having only a degree of light perception, and who overcame her blindness and learned to sew and quilt. When she heard of The Cubby in Caribou, a thrift shop owned by Chris and Cindy Johnson, which donates a percentage of all sales to community organizations in order to help others, she decided that she wanted to be part of the cause.
