Members of the Lister/Knowlton VFW Auxiliary continue in their endless contributions to local groups and projects as they recently presented a $1,500 donation to the Christopher Home in Caribou. Shawn Savage, director at the home stated that the funds would be used to assist in the construction of a deck on the backside of the facility which is located on Pleasant Street. Presenting Savage with the donation is Pat Edgecomb, VFW Auxiliary president. Following the presentation of the donation, Auxiliary members had a chance to tour the inside of the Christopher Home and learn more about the programs/services that this agency provides. Included in the photo are Nora Guerrette, Doris Pelkey, Josephine Bell, Leila Terwilliger, Pat Edgecomb, Carol Adams, Jeanette Hanson, Jeannette Stairs and LuAnn Shaw. Also present during the presentation and facility tour was Brad Holabird, employee at the Christopher Home.
