Men’s Basketball
The Presque Isle Recreation & Parks Department will be offering Men’s Basketball on Tuesday and Thursdays nights from 7-9 p.m. This program is for individuals over 18 years of age, and/or are out of high school. This program is informal and costs $1 per night.
Adult Volleyball
The Presque Isle Recreation & Parks Department is looking to add Adult Volleyball on Monday nights from 7-9 p.m. This program would be informal and would cost $1 per night. 5th & 6th Grade Basketball Registration
The Presque Isle Recreation & Parks Department will offer fifth and sixth grade basketball for both boys and girls. Registration is ongoing and the season begins Jan. 29. The registration fee for this program is $18 for Presque Isle residents.
4th, 5th and 6th Grade Cheerleading
The Presque Isle Recreation & Parks Department will be offering fourth, fifth and sixth grade cheerleading. Registration is ongoing, and the season begins Jan. 29. The registration for this program is $18 for Presque Isle residents. Girls interested can, cheer and play basketball as the programs will not interfere.
Archery
The Presque Isle Recreation & Parks Department and Uncle Buck’s Archery will be offering Archery on Sunday nights from 6-8 p.m. Jan. 2-23. Northern Zumba
The Presque Isle Recreation and Parks Department and Northern Zumba are pleased to offer Zumba. This program will be offered Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday mornings from 9-10 a.m. starting Jan. 5. XC Skiing
The Presque Isle Recreation & Parks Department and the Nordic Heritage Sport Club are offering Cross Country Skiing for grades 1-8 Saturday mornings from 10 a.m.-noon. Registration has begun at the William V. Haskell Community Center. This program starts Saturday, Jan. 8 and runs until March 12. The fee for the program is $18 per child for the 10-week session. The Presque Isle Recreation & Parks Department and Wintergreen Arts winter session registration has begun. This session runs from Jan. 11 to Feb. 18. The concentrated areas for this session will include, “The Wonderful World of Paint.” This area will be learning the different styles and uses of watercolor and acrylics. This session will also include, “Calling All Confectioners!” This area will be learning how to make tasty creations out of clay, learning culinary terminology, recipe reading, ingredient measuring, and artistic plating. All Star Gymnastics
