To the editor:
As a veteran I have a concern. I live in Presque Isle but as I drive through the many wonderful towns surrounding us I am disgusted by the amount of torn and tattered American flags flying over the local businesses in the county as well as the ones at private residences. Many proud Americans have paid the ultimate price of freedom and the least we can do as fellow Americans is to fly the flag with pride.
With the many issues in this country at the present moment this may seem trivial to some but believe me it is not to any Military Member, past, present and future. God bless the U.S.A.!
