County cheering event
slated Friday in Caribou
CARIBOU — The annual Aroostook League Cheering Competition will be held Friday, Jan. 14 beginning at 7 p.m. at the Caribou High School gymnasium.
Several Aroostook County varsity cheering squads will vie for the team title. Top individuals will be recognized and a spirit award will be presented as well.
The winners of both the large and small school middle school championships will perform at the event.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. Concessions and T-shirts will be on sale.
