Cynthia Hutchinson of Linneus and Steve Fitzpatrick of Monroe, and Ronnie and Suzelle Jandreau of Fort Kent announce the engagement of their children, Amanda Fitzpatrick and Adam Jandreau.
She is a 2004 graduate of Hodgdon High School, and a 2008 graduate from the University of Maine at Orono cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. She is currently employed as a structural engineer at Becker Structural Engineers, Inc. of Portland.

He is a 2005 graduate of Fort Kent Community High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is currently employed as a civil engineer for Power Engineers, Inc. of Freeport.
A September 10, 2011 wedding is being planned at the Sacred Heart Church in Yarmouth.
