Richard and Jean Sloat of East Hodgdon, along with Sally Ward of Hodgdon and Joe Ledger of Amity announce the engagement of Amanda Sloat to Joshua Ledger.
Amanda is a 2004 graduate of Hodgdon High School and a 2008 graduate of Eastern Maine Community College with an associates degree in Surgical Technology. She is currently employed at Houlton Regional Hospital.
Josh is a 2007 graduate of Hodgdon High School and a 2009 graduate of Northern Maine Community College with an associates degree in Automotive Technology and welding. He is currently employed at Yorks of Houlton and Joe Ledger Trucking and Firewood.
A May 7, 2011 wedding is being planned at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Houlton.
