At a recent meeting of the Houlton Rotary Club, Dr. Laurel Pinales and Dr. Martha Stewart shared the microphone to teach Rotarians about the transfer of diseases from pets to their owners. General guidelines were presented for pet owners to learn how to avoid zoonotic transfer of disease.
