    Garibotto, John G., 90, February 10, 2011.  Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Houlton.  Spring interment to be held in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
American Flag Color    HOULTON and CAPE ELIZABETH – John G. Garibotto, 90, died February 10 in Houlton. He was born September 24, 1920 in Medford, MA, the son of John S. and Celeste (Govanani) Garibotto.
    He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in France during WWII where he received a Purple Heart.
    He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Barbara (Weagle) Garibotto of Houlton; three children, John J. Garibotto and his wife, Debra of Houlton, Ronald Garibotto and his wife, Katharine of Ramona, CA, Susan Magoon and her husband, Norman of N. Yarmouth; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Gallagher of Scarborough.
    He was predeceased by his parents and a grandson, Ethan L. Magoon.
    Friends called 1-2 p.m. Monday, February 14 at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water Street, Houlton where funeral services were held 2 p.m. with Deacon Al Burleigh officiating.  Spring interment will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
